my restless feet

i'm crying from the pain creeping up my body
i'm hurting from the distortion i try to fit in myself

i'm numbing myself so as i can just not feel anything
but it's still there.
it just won't go away.
i walk it off.
drink it down.
sit on it.
lie around.
it just won't disappear.
i'm a prisoner
of my restless feet.

Restless legs syndrome is characterized by vague, uncomfortable sensations of the body resulting to an irresistible urge to move. It most commonly affects the legs. Moving the affected part will provide temporary relief. This usually occurs when a person is about to sleep or in a restful state, thus, causes inability to sleep.
